Charity Poker Royal Oak Mi

I was very disappointed when I went to Mr. B's in Royal Oak. I went on a Tuesday evening and there was never more than 12 people in the room. They only had two dealers so once they had two tables going, they had no one in charge to handle people while they were walking in. Since the two dealers were the only people there, the charity started being responsible for answering phone calls. This is the first time I have ever seen the charity at the room be responsible for phone calls. Also the average pot size throughout the night in a 1/2 NL game was only around $15-$20. Most 1/2 NL games in the area have a much larger average pot size throughout the night. So it was not as much fun playing when the pots were always small and if a big bet was made, everyone would fold. The nice thing about the room is that they do have a board where each player rights down the number of the parking meter they parked at, in order for the bartender to pay the meter throughout the night. Also the atmosphere of the poker room was nice, it was secluded from the restaurant in the basement and had many couches and a bar as well. Overall I wouldn't recommend anyone to go out of there way to play poker here, but if this is the nearest poker room to someone it is worth trying out once or twice.
