The World Heads-Up Championship will make its debut Tuesday, Feb. 6, at the Crystal Casino in Los Angeles featuring poker super-stars such as Daniel Negreanu, Joe Hachem and Jennifer Harman. Sixty-four of poker's elite will battle it out in a bracket style one-on-one tournament.
This $10,000 buy-in features a $640,000 prize pool, with $215,000 and year long bragging rights going to first place. The tournament is hosted by 'Live at the Bike.'
The action kicks off with a live pairing party on Feb. 5, at Yosh's Sushi Bar in the Bicycle Casino. Players will be divided into four brackets and will advance with each subsequent win against a randomly drawn opponent. The matches will begin at 2 p.m. each day from Tuesday, Feb. 6, to Thursday, Feb. 8, with the quarterfinals and championship matches taking place on Thursday.
